Bikram Yoga

Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 postures performed in a heated room for 90 minutes. Bikrams Yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Each posture stretches, strengthens, and prepares the body to work every muscle, organ, gland, and cell in the perfect order. The result is 100% exercise! The founder Bikram Choudary scientifically designed the series to bring your body back to a healthy working order, to promote weight loss, prevent illness, and limit the effects of aging. In addition, the series of postures combine skills of concentration, patience, determination and self-control, which lead to increased mental clarity and reduced stress.

Ashtanga Yoga

'Ashtanga' means 'eight limbs', Ashtanga Yoga is a set series of postures, with a sun salute between postures; These postures are the same, practiced in the exact same sequence, held for the exact same number of breaths. It is a very challenging and disciplined practice, but incredibly rewarding.

Hatha-Vinyasa Flow

‘Ha’ is considered the left side of the body and ‘tha’ the right. The aim of Hatha Yoga is to merge/unify both the left and right sides of the body. Essentially, balance, which is why all postures are repeated on the left and right side of the body. The focus will be on whatever theme or parts of the body that the instructor and the class choose to work on.

Hatha Flow is not taught in a heated room. You may do two or three sun salutations to warm the body and the rest of the class you will hold postures for up to 10 breath cycles. Basically the postures will flow from one to the other with longer holds. All movement is synchronized with your breathing, transitioning from one pose to the next on either an inhale or exhale.

Moksha / Modo Hot Yoga

Moksha Yoga is a green, clean, hot yoga series that stretches, strengthens and tones the muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. The series starts off in Savasana (laying in corpse pose), intention setting, then it moves on to the standing series, floor series and final Savasana. Moksha / Modo has 7 Pillars embedded within it. They are as follows:

Kids Yoga

Kids Yoga is very popular in the western world and it's slowly become more available here in the UAE. Yoga is easy for little ones as they actually demonstrate some of the poses from when they are little babies. Children will jump at the chance to assume the role of animals, trees, flowers, or warriors and have lots of fun in the process.

The development of a child at such a young age plays a vital role in the growth of their body and mind. Yoga helps them develop body awareness, understand the benefits of movement, discover the importance of breathing, and become better able to connect with and tune into their emotions.

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga helps us manage pregnancy with ease and confidence; it helps us stay fit and positive through this challenging time. Through the practice of postures, relaxation and awareness of breathing, designed specifically for pregnancy, you will be able to prepare for the birth of your baby. Certain postures will help to open your hips, aiding you in an easier and smoother delivery. Other postures are beneficial to our hormonal system, calming us down as well as bringing fresh blood supply to your baby.
